Membership

The Greater Tampa Sertoma Club (GTSC) is one of several Tampa Bay area Sertoma clubs. Each of the Sertoma Clubs are autonomous and can determine such things as their theme, membership, charities and fundraisers. There are single gender clubs and co-ed clubs. Clubs have represented the Sheriffs Department and others have themed themselves with Gasparilla.

GTSC is a businessmen's civic club. Our primary goal is to support our charitable organizations while developing life long friendships with each other. We meet every Thursday at noon at Lee Roy Selmon's Restaurant, located at 4302 W. Boy Scout Blvd in Tampa Florida. Each weekly meeting features a informative and entertaining speaker after various tasty
BBQ meals.

In addition to our weekly meetings, we get together for social events such as picnics, holiday parties and poker nights. Our members are also encouraged to do business with one another and they do so even though we have no formal business networking meetings.

Our dues of $130.00 per quarter cover our lunches, club operations and all district, regional and international dues. There is a one-time $35.00 initiation fee required of all new members due with the application for membership.

All applications are reviewed by the GTSC Board. The board has the final determination on acceptance or rejection of a prospective member.
